Plastic packaging intended for industry is complex because it is comprised of a unique plastic material and because it may have contained many substances. It often took the route to incineration because it was simple.
Since 2008, taking this complexity into account, Emb-i-pack has developed different circular models, that are economically and ecologically sustainable. So industrial packaging will be sorted beforehand, before going through the reclamation processes, such as reuse or material recycling.
The increase in the incoming volumes on our sites has allowed us to industrialise all the reclamation chains and to develop the manufacturing of R-PEHD intended for packaging manufacturers.
